Domaine de La Coume is well situated in the heart of the Languedoc-Rousillon countryside in the Department of the Aude. It is a few minutes drive from the small village of Plavilla on the D6 and 10 minutes from the historic Bastide town of Mirepoix.

As you drive down the D6, from the Castelnaudary direction, and before you reach Plavilla the figure of the Wild Boar can be seen marking the entrance to La Coume.

By Road: there are various routes down through France and any good road map will help you to plan your route. After Toulouse leave the A61 motorway at Junction 21, turn right onto the D6 towards Mirepoix and Domaine de La Coume is about 18 kilometres (12 Miles). The entrance is marked by a statue of a wild boar on the left hand side of the road just before you reach Plavilla.

By Air: Both Carcassonne, which is 30 minutes away and Toulouse which is only 55 minutes away, are convenient and served well by a number of airlines.

Car hire is available from both airports and it is best to pre-book this before arrival. A company we have used in the past have been very helpful.
